The TIM Force 40 are, in our opinion, far and away the best of the TIM Legwear range; they are silky, glide well under trousers, and have a much nicer 'feel' to the fabric than the others in the range. Our only criticisms would be the 'conventional' seams (most of the competition have flat seams now), and the fact that the waistband is far too high; they seem to go almost up to the wearers armpits (slight exageration for effect), which is odd, as the pre-production samples we were sent had a much better-placed waistband. However, this doesn't ruin them, and they are a perfectly serviceable pair of tights, especially given the low price.
